KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has been admitted to Shahid Gangalal Heart Center due to chest discomfort, as confirmed by his aide, Sureshkaji Shrestha.
Home Minister Shrestha was taken to the hospital after he “experienced chest discomfort”.
He underwent angioplasty, specifically addressing the left anterior descending artery.
Notably, a similar procedure had been performed on his left circumflex artery during a recent visit to China approximately seven weeks ago.
The secretariat of Home Minister Shrestha reported that his health condition is currently stable.
The Deputy Prime Minister sought medical attention after participating in the ruling alliance meeting convened by the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamall Dahal in Baluwatar on Tuesday evening.
