Government ready to encourage entrepreneurs: Industry Minister Rijal



PATAN: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal said the government was always ready to help and encourage entrepreneurs.

Inaugurating the ‘Women Entrepreneurship Fair’ organized here in Satdobato, Lalitpur today on the occasion of Teej festival by the Federation of Small and Medium Enterprise Nepal, he said the country would pursue prosperity due to labor of entrepreneurs, and it was the prime responsibility of the government to help them.

“The government is committed to bringing the country to prosperity with new plans and thoughts. The government is ready to help entrepreneurs as their labor leads the country to prosperity.”

On the occasion, former president of the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal Dharma Ratna Shakya, also an academician for the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, asked the government to formulate policies so products produced by women of Nepal can reach the national and international market.

There are five stalls showcasing various products in the fair that will run for five days, said the fair organizing committee coordinator Yashoda Dahal.
