Khukuri attack on NC Joint General Secy Yadav, rushed to Bir Hospital for treatment



KATHMANDU: In a shocking incident, Nepali Congress Joint-General Secretary Mahendra Yadav was targeted in a violent attack in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Yadav was assaulted as he was leaving an event at the Reporters Club in Kathmandu.

The assailant, identified as Shyam Sapkota, a resident of Nuwakot, reportedly used a khukuri in the attack.

The assault resulted in severe injuries to Yadav, necessitating his immediate transfer to Bir Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
