Chairman Prachanda calls for extensive grassroots outreach in Special Transformation Campaign

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has urged all central members of the party to engage in a three-month-long Special Transformation campaign aimed at connecting with the grassroots levels.

During the Central Committee meeting held at Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi, Kathmandu on Sunday, Chairman Prachanda directed party leaders to ensure the success of the campaign by visiting households across the nation, including those belonging to members or supporters of CPN-UML, Nepali Congress (NC), and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

Starting from September 2, all leaders and workers have been instructed to visit every household without exception, keeping a detailed record of their outreach efforts. Chairman Prachanda emphasized that the campaign’s effectiveness would be closely monitored within the party.

To facilitate this extensive outreach, the Chairman called upon the central members to form committees in all 6,743 wards and take on leadership roles. He expressed confidence that this campaign would reinvigorate the party and bring it closer to the people.

The Central Committee meeting, which began on August 2, concluded on Sunday with the announcement of the special campaign and changes in the responsibilities of office bearers.
