NC’s Uddhav Thapa claims stake for Koshi Chief Minister



BIRATNAGAR: Uddhav Thapa, a leader of the Nepali Congress (NC), has officially announced his candidacy for the position of Chief Minister of Koshi Province.

As the leader of the NC’s Parliamentary Party in Koshi Province, Thapa presented his claim to Parshuram Khapung, the Province Chief, on Thursday afternoon.

Additionally, the ruling alliance of the Federal Government has also included the name of Koshi Province Speaker Baburam Gautam.

To meet the deadline set by Province Chief Khapung, Thapa submitted his claim on Thursday.
