KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place at 11:00 am today.
The HoR meeting is scheduled to hold discussions on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
General discussion on the government’s annual estimate of revenue and expenditure (budget) for the financial year 2080/81 began in the House of Representatives on Monday.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat presented a proposal to begin general discussion on the new financial year budget.
Finance Minister Dr Mahat had presented the budget for the financial year 2080/81 at the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on May 29.
