CPN-UML calls Secretariat meeting



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has called a meeting of its Secretariat on May 9 to discuss contemporary politics, among other issues.

According to Deputy Head of the UML Publicity Department, Bishnu Rijal, the meeting to be held at the UML party headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur will decide the agenda of the upcoming Central Committee meeting.

The party is holding its fifth Central Committee meeting on May 13, 14 and 15 in Jhapa.

According to the party statute, the meeting of its Central Committee should be held every six months.

However, the UML is holding its CC meeting three months later.
