Four die in Manthali road accident



RAMECHHAP: Four persons died in a road accident that happened at Manthali Municipality-7 in Ramechhap district on Thursday.

Eleven persons sustained injuries in the accident, police said. A jeep (Ba 11 Cha 553) heading to Kauchhini of ward no. 7 of the municipality from the district headquarters of Manthali fell some 100 meters off the road killing all four persons on the spot.

The deceased are Nanda Maya Bhandari, 82, Gyandani Tamang, 55, and Jensun Tamang, 68, of Manthali Municipality-7 and eight-year-old Lakpa Ghising of Gunsi village of Sunapati Rural Municipality-1 in the district.

Of the injured, condition of two persons including the driver is critical and they are receiving treatment at Ramechhap Community Hospital.
