Govt hikes price of petroleum products



KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petroleum products.

The retail price of petrol and diesel/kerosene has been increased by Rs 3 per liter.

With this, the price of petrol has reached Rs 178 per liter and diesel/kerosene cost Rs 175 per liter.

According to NOC, the retail price of aviation fuel and cooking gas has remained unchanged.

“There is still a challenge for the NOC to manage the arrears of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and the loans provided by the government,” the NOC said in a statement.
