Storm obstructs air service in Humla

HUMLA: Gusty weather since Thursday has obstructed air service in mountainous district, Humla.

As a result, passengers and supply of essentials have been affected.

Some of the passengers who have already booked the tickets have been stranded.

Private airlines had been operating flights between Humla, Nepalgunj and Surkhet.

Supply of food items, essentials and vegetables has been affected without flights since two days, said Simkot Airport.

Tara Air and Summit Air had been operating flights between Nepalgunj and Humla.

It takes around 45 minutes by air to reach Humla from Nepalgunj.
