Police post set up in Mauwaphant of Myagdi

MYAGDI: A police post has been established in Mauwaphant of Myagdi. Gandaki Province Police Chief, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ram Dutta Joshi inaugurated the police post.

The building for the post was constructed a year ago with the financial assistance of the province government.

It was set up as per the federal government’s plan of establishing police post in the centre of all local government units.

DIG Joshi informed that the building with 23 units was constructed through contract.

The province police office built the post with the assistance of the province government.

A team of five security personnel under the command of head constable has been deployed in the post.
