Unified Socialist reschedules general convention to May 16-20



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has revised its decision and set new dates for its general convention, now scheduled to take place from May 16 to May 20 next year. This decision was reached during the party’s Central Secretariat meeting held on Tuesday.

Initially, the party had announced the general convention to be held from January 28 to February 1. However, after the recent deliberations, the new dates have been finalized for May.

In addition to the general convention, the party has also decided to conduct a national conference on January 28 and January 29 next year.

The upcoming schedule for the party includes secretariat meetings on December 14 and 15, a standing committee meeting on December 25, a politburo meeting on December 26, followed by a central committee meeting on December 27 and 28.
