Meeting of eight coalition partners taking place



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top leaders of eight political parties is taking place today.

The meeting had been called to discuss the coalition’s future strategy after agreeing on a consensus candidate for the presidential election.

Baluwatar sources said that the meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar will discuss the current political developments, and the presidential election, among others.

Meanwhile, leaders of the Nagarik Unmukti Party are not attending the meeting since Ranjita Shrestha, Chairperson of the party is out of the Valley.
