Nepal sees three new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 22



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of three new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

All the three confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 306 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the cases tested lately, 305 were tested through RT-PCR method and one through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 22 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
