PM Dahal meets Agni Pandey



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has met Agni Pandey of Jhapa. Pandey’s son Nirakar died on Thursday night in a fire that took place at Grand Diamond City Hotel and Casino in Cambodia.

Prime Minister Dahal met with Agni at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers this morning.

On the occasion, Agni said they are shocked by the demise of Nirakar and extended gratitude for government’s concern towards the incident.

Expressing commitment to support to repatriate dead body of Nirakar to Nepal as well as to provide support to the family, Prime Minister Dahal urged the family members to adopt fortitude, shared PM Dahal’s Press Coordinator Surya Kiran Sharma.

Deputy Prime Ministers Bishnu Poudel and Rabi Lamichhane, Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi among others were present on the occasion.

Earlier to this, Prime Minister Dahal through the Chief Secretary has already directed to forward process to repatriate Nirakar’s body to Nepal.
