PM Dahal confirms six Nepalis enlisted in Russian Army lose lives



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda stated that six Nepalis, serving in the Russian Army, have lost their lives.

He said beyond serving in the Russian Army, several Nepalis are participating in the conflict on behalf of Ukraine.

Speaking to editors at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Monday afternoon, he said, “Nepalese citizens have not only joined the Russian army, but they have also taken part in the fighting on behalf of Ukraine.”

“Regrettably, we have received information about the demise of six individuals who were part of the Russian army,” he said.
