Indian PM Modi expresses sorrow at Jajarkot earthquake death-toll and damages

KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India stands in solidarity with the government and people of Nepal while expressing deep sorrow at the loss of lives and damages in Nepal due to the earthquake in Jajarkot.

Addressing Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on social media, PM Modi said India is ready to extend all possible assistance to the Nepal government.

While extending condolence to the families of those deceased in the earthquake, PM Modi wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
