27 out of 36 earthquake victims in Rukum-West identified

RUKUM WEST: Out of the 36 people who lost their lives in the earthquake of magnitude 6.4 that shook Rukum Paschim last night, the identities of 27 deceased have been confirmed.

The District Police Office of Rukum West said that 19 of the identified deceased were children.

The list of children who lost their lives in the earthquake includes 12-year-old Manisha Pariyar, 8-year-old Yamraj Pun, 2-year-old Sitam Pun, 10-month-old Rejan Wali, and 8-year-old Nirjal Chand.

Furthermore, the earthquake claimed the lives of several children in Gauri village of Aathbiskot municipality-11, including 18-month-old Alisa Kami, four-year-old Asha Kami, six-year-old Diya Kami, nine-year-old Riya Kami, 13-year-old Srijana Kami, 14-year-old Ramesh Pun, 13-year-old Dil Bahadur KC, three-year-old Basu Budha, five-year-old Bhawana Jaisi, 2-year-old Deepen Jaisi, 13-year-old Sarita BK, and 3-year-old Madan Gautam.
