KATHMANDU: The post of Vice-Chancellor at Tribhuvan University (TU) has remained vacant with the four-year term of its vice-chancellor ending from Friday.

It has been claimed that during his tenure he had advanced the establishment of a tech-savvy University, the culture of good governance, management of the educational calendar, reforms in the education system and practices of decentralization in the Tribhuvan University.

He shared that several forward-looking measures were adopted to enhance of capacity of the employees, enhancing the effectiveness of regulation of constituent and affiliated campuses and amendment to the TU law, rules and by-law.
