UML Gandaki Province Convention election process begins today



POKHARA: The election process for the CPN-UML’s Gandaki Convention is commencing today.

A panel led by UML Standing Committee member Khagaraj Adhikari is poised to officially register their candidates for the convention.

According to insider reports within the party, Adhikari’s team comprises Mayanath Adhikari of Lamjung as the candidate for Provincial Chairman, Baburam BK of Nawalpur as the Vice Chairman nominee, and Rashmi Acharya of Kaski vying for the position of Secretary.

Further adding to the excitement, Santosh Rawal from Myagdi and Mina Gurung from Kaski are preparing to submit their candidacies for the Deputy Secretary roles.

Simultaneously, party leader Prithvi Subba Gurung is gearing up to present the names of his panel’s candidates, making this convention a crucial and closely-watched event within the CPN-UML.
