One infected with COVID-19, dengue dies in Seti Hospital



KATHMANDU: A patient diagnosed with COVID-19 and dengue infections at the Seti Province Hospital, Dhangadi died last night.

The 30-year-old male had been on the ventilator support since May 2. Before this, he underwent a nerve surgery on April 7, according to Hospital information officer Mekhraj Upadhyay.

He was tested positive to COVID-19 on April 30 and to dengue after two days and was put on the ventilator support.

Prior to this, a woman died of COVID-19 at the hospital’s ICU on April 16. The hospital says it has been registering an increasing cases of COVID-19 infections since last month.
