NEPSE declines by 5.20 points on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell for the third day in a row this week.

On Tuesday, the stock market declined by 5.20 points to 1866.68 points. The transaction amount also shrunk to less than Rs 1 billion.

On Tuesday, 2, 971,947 shares were bought and sold through 23,170 transactions of 264 securities. The day witnessed transactions worth 91,76,10,296 rupees.

The stock market sub-indices saw mixed results. The value of banking, investment, life insurance, product and cost non-life insurance, and other sub-indices decreased.

The price of Kalinchok Darshan Pvt Ltd rose the most by 9.98 percent to Rs 257.80 today. Similarly, the price of the Sanima Growth Fund has increased by 8.93 percent.

The price of Prabhu Bank debenture decreased the most by 9.29 percent. There have been many transactions in securities including Shivam Cement, NIC Asia Bank, and Siddharth Premier Insurances.
