Prime Minister’s office personnel inspect Department of Passports



KATHMANDU: The information and technology team of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office inspected the Department of Passports on Wednesday to get updates about the software problems the Department faced on Tuesday.

According to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s secretariat, the PM Office team instructed the technical branch of the Department to resolve the problems prevalent in passport distribution.

“The team discussed in detail the current problems with the director general of the Department, the administration and the technical support team of the software,” the PM’s Secretariat informed.

The officials directed the Department to ensure speedy, effective and hassle free services to the customers.
