Nepal sees seven new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 21



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of seven new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

All the seven confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,000 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the cases tested lately, 452 were tested through RT-PCR method and 548 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 21 active cases in the country as six infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
