KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of western winds prevailing in the country, bringing diverse weather patterns to different areas.

As of now, the weather is generally clear in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while other areas experience partial cloud cover, according to the Division.

This afternoon, the Division forecasts continued clear conditions in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

However, there is a potential for light snowfall at isolated locations in the high hills and Himalayan areas of these provinces.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain clear in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Sudurpaschim, and Koshi provinces, encompassing Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali.

Simultaneously, there is a chance of light rain at isolated spots in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, including Lumbini, accompanied by snowfall in the high hilly and Himalayan regions.
