Wife killed, husband and sons injured in motorcycle-truck collision



TANAHU: A woman, Sukmaya BK, was killed when a truck hit a motorcycle in Tanahu last night.

The accident left the deceased woman’s husband, Ram Chandra BK, and their two sons, three-year-old Suman and six-year-old Gurans, injured.

The incident occurred on the Prithviraj Highway road section of Myagde Rural Municipality-6 when the family was traveling on a motorcycle from Damauli to Pokhara.

The injured family members are currently receiving treatment at the GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Centre.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
