BIRATNAGAR: Ghanshyam Khatiwada has been elected as the Chairman of CPN-UML for Koshi Province.

Khatiwada was elected as the Chairman, defeating his competitor Binod Dhakal by 73 votes.

Khatiwada received 512 votes, while Dhakal garnered 439 votes.

Khatiwada, who previously served as the Chairman of the former Letang VDC in Morang, was elected to the House of Representatives from Morang Constituency-1 in the 2074 BS election.”
