PM Dahal wraps up four-day visit to India

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has returned home after completing his four-day visit to India.

He arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport at 6:30 pm on Saturday evening via the Nepal Airlines aircraft.

Prime Minister Dahal, who went to India on May 31, met with Indian President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officials of security agencies, industrialists, and other high-ranking people from various fields.

Nepal sees four new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 18

Nepal recorded a total of four new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases, one was detected through the RT-PCR method and three through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 945 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

No govt dared to take slogan of prosperous Nepal ahead: UML chair Oli

CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that no other government has been able to carry the slogan of a ‘Prosperous Nepal and a Happy Nepali’ ahead.

Speaking at a program organized by the UML’s Science and Technology Department at the party office in Chyasal, Lalitpur on Saturday, he said that after the removal of his government, no one dared to carry the Sambridhdha Nepal, Sukhi Nepali agenda.
Criticizing leadership alone does not make party strong: NC President Deuba

Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the party can not be made strong merely by opposing and criticizing the leadership.

Addressing the first district convention of the Nepali Congress District Working Committee of Lalitpur on Saturday, he said that the party will not become big and strong by humiliating an individual.

Hinting at the allegations that the party President was responsible for the declining trust in NC, Deuba remarked that everyone was free to work for the purpose of strengthening the party.

India visit a resounding success: PM Dahal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that his four-day visit to India was a complete success and it has added a new brick to Nepal’s economic prosperity and development process.

Speaking to Nepali journalists in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, he emphasized the importance of the agreements and MoUs reached during his visit, stating that they were crucial in advancing the interests of the entire country.

He assured that the discussions were done with the utmost consideration for Nepal’s well-being.

“The visit has been highly productive in a unique way. The agreement concerning trade and energy represents a significant breakthrough, fulfilling a long-standing aspiration,” he stated.
