Criticizing leadership alone does not make party strong: NC President Deuba

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the party can not be made strong merely by opposing and criticizing the leadership.

Addressing the first district convention of the Nepali Congress District Working Committee of Lalitpur on Saturday, he said that the party will not become big and strong by humiliating an individual.

Hinting at the allegations that the party President was responsible for the declining trust in NC, Deuba remarked that everyone was free to work for the purpose of strengthening the party.

“The party can not be made stronger by criticizing the leadership, to strengthen the party one should further expand the party organization and ensure connection with the public, the grass root people,” the NC President said.

He urged NC leaders and cadres to work united for the party and the nation.
