Sher Bahadur Adhikari wins 3rd Rara Trail Run title



MUGU: Sher Bahadur Adhikari of Hima-6, Paterkhola, Jumla won the title of 3rd Rara Trail Run on Saturday.

The Trail Run has been organized for three years for the promotion of tourism and Rara Lake.

The event is jointly organized by Shree Box Gulm of the Nepal Army and the Chhayanath Rara Municipality.

Adhikari completed the 16 km run around Rara Lake in 59 minutes and 20 seconds.

In the event participated by 222 players, Sher Bahadur Budha of Kanakasundari-3, Jumla stood second and Dipendra Bohora of Patarasi-5, Jumla stood third. Budha completed the race in 1 hour 12 seconds and Bohora in 1 hour 1 minute 21 seconds.

Similarly, Rajyalaxmi Rawal of Guthichour-3, Jumla stood first under the women category. She completed the Run in 1 hour 13 minutes 52 seconds. Anita Budha of Tila-9 and Samita Budha of Patarasi-2 stood second and third respectively.
