Ruling coalition discusses govt’s policies, programs

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling coalition held on Wednesday discussed the government’s policies, and programs, giving full shape to the cabinet, among other issues.

The meeting also focused on budget formulation, according to Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak.

He added that the leaders in the meeting discussed about bringing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on board the government.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Lekhak denied any “misunderstanding” among the ruling partners as speculated.

“Let me make you clear that there has been no misunderstanding or tussle among the ruling parties,” he said, adding, “The ruling coalition will not collapse.”
