JSP chair Yadav files candidacy in Bara 2



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP) chairman Upendra Yadav has registered his candidacy for the forthcoming April 23 by-elections from Bara-2.

Yadav went to the Chief Election Officer’s office and registered his candidacy on Monday afternoon.

The by-elections will be held in Chitwan-2 and Tanahu-1 along with Bara-2 are scheduled for April 23.

The Election Commission (EC) is conducting by-elections in Bara after Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav from Bara got elected to the post of Vice President.

Earlier, JSP chair Yadav was defeated by Janamat Party’s Dr. CK Raut in the House of Representatives elections held on November 20.
