One killed in LP gas tanker overturn



CHITWAN: A person was killed when an Indian number plate LP gas tanker (UP 70 DT 6055) skidded off the road and overturned at Lewatar of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-4 along the Prithivi Highway today morning.

The identity of the dead is yet to be ascertained. Two others were injured in the accident, said the police.

One of them identified as Ram Batan Tati, an Indian national, was receiving treatment at local Trauma Centre, Kurintar while another at Old Medical College.

The unidentified injured person is said to be in serious condition, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijaya Raj Pandit.
