KATHMANDU: Kiran Kumar Sah, an independent MP elected to the House of Representatives from Rautahat-2, has joined CPN-UML.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli welcomed Sah to UML last evening.

In the House of Representatives elections held on November 20, independent candidate Sah was elected to the House of Representatives defeating Fordos Alam, candidate of Nepali Congress and son of former minister Mohammed Aftab Alam, by a margin of around 7,000 votes.
