Parliament spent about 6 crores in 6 months to formulate only one law: Lamichhane



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, criticized the Federal Parliament, revealing that it has spent approximately Rs 60 million over the course of six months, resulting in the creation of just a single law.

During the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, Lamichhane expressed his disappointment, stating that the parliament’s efficiency was severely lacking.

“In the six months since the start of the second session, the Federal Parliament made only one law except for the budget,” he stated.

“I used to be more effective when I was a television journalist. I remember doing much more effective work in solving citizens’ problems,” he stated.
