Constitutional Council meeting to be held tomorrow



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Constitutional Council is set to convene tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:00 pm.

The previous meeting, held on Tuesday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, concluded without reaching any concrete decisions.

The primary agenda of the forthcoming meeting is to discuss and finalize the recommendation of candidates for the Chief Justice position.

National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has stated that during the next gathering, the Council will also deliberate on the appointment of the Chief Justice and address other vacancies in constitutional bodies.
