KATHMANDU: Former Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’s security advisor Indrajit Rai has been arrested on a charge of fraud.

Rai allegedly played a role in presenting a Nepali national as a Bhutanese refugee to help later go to USA. He is accused of defrauding millions of rupees.

Rai was arrested from Lalitpur on Tuesday morning.
