WASHINGTON DC: Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud, who is on an official visit to the United States of America, held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the US International Development Finance Corporation, Scott Nathan.
On the occasion, they discussed the matters related to the Corporation’s investment in Nepal, it is said.
Minister Saud highlighting government strategies for the promotion of private sector investment in Nepal had urged CEO Nathan to increase investment flow to Nepal through the Corporation.
Corporation Chief Nathan shared his perspectives on the increment of the Corporation’s investment for the economic development of Nepal and its potential areas.
The Corporation as part of the US government now has invested USD 36 billion 450 million in 110 countries.
Besides, the Corporation has been mobilizing financial instruments for the development of the private sector through capital investment.
