KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today with a prominent item on its agenda: the tabling of the School Education Bill-2080.
Scheduled to commence at 1 pm, the meeting will witness Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Ashok Rai, presenting the Bill.
The School Education Bill-2080 has been at the center of recent controversy following its registration in Parliament.
After teachers launched an agitation, the government pledged to address their concerns, and today, the Bill is set to move forward.
Additionally, in today’s session, Speaker Devraj Ghimire will outline the particulars of the letter received from the Office of the President pertaining to the assignment of duties.
Moreover, Speaker Ghimire will also elucidate the contents of letters received from the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers during the meeting.
