Nepal’s second win in a row, defeats Bahrain by 10 wickets on Friday



KATHMANDU: Nepal has won the second consecutive victory in the Asian qualifiers of the Women’s T20 World Cup.

In the match on Friday, Nepal defeated Bahrain by 10 wickets.

Batting first, Bahrain was bowled out for 31 runs in 15.4 overs. Nepal’s Indu Burma took 3 wickets.

Nepal met the target without losing a wicket in 2.5 overs. Nepal got 13 extra runs. Kavita Kunwar scored an unbeaten 17 and Sita Ranamar scored 2 runs.

Earlier, in the first match, Nepal won a thrilling 5-run victory over Malaysia.
