Parties agree to ensure smooth operation of parliament

KATHMANDU: The parliamentary parties of the House of Representatives have agreed to ensure the parliament can resume its regular meetings and procedures.

On the call of the speaker Devraj Ghimire, the meeting of the Task Management Consultation Committee held on Tuesday agreed to run the meeting called for Tuesday.

However, UML is preparing to obstruct the House provided the government does not form a parliamentary committee or High-Level Committee to investigate on gold smuggling case.
