KATHMANDU: Monsoon winds impact the country, with the axis of monsoon trough towards the West remaining in the north and towards the east from its average position, as reported by the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Weather conditions today are expected to be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country.
There will be light to moderate rain in some areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and a few places in the rest of the provinces.
Additionally, there is a possibility of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two locations in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali, as stated by the Division.
Tonight, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy across the country.
There is a likelihood of light to moderate rain in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini, and a few places in the rest of the provinces.
Moreover, heavy rain with thunder and lightning is anticipated at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali.
