CPN-UML holding Secretariat meeting on Friday



KATHMANDU: Main opposition party, CPN-UML, is holding a meeting of its Secretariat on Friday.

UML Publicity Department Head Prithvi Subba Gurung said that the Secretariat meeting will be held at the party headquarters Chyasal, Lalitpur tomorrow morning.

The meeting has been called to discuss contemporary issues and to decide the party’s opinion and to divide the work of the central members, he said.

The party has already decided to extend its ‘Mission Grassroots’ campaign and mobilize its central members for one more year.

The party has a 19-member Secretariat. Among them, Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi is under suspension due to his alleged involvement in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.
