NC determined to promote labor rights: Deuba

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the NC would always work for the rights and interests of laborers by addressing their issues.

In a message today on the occasion of International May Day, Deuba has wished for happiness, peace and prosperity to all working-class people in Nepal and all over the world.

In his message, Deuba recalled Nepal’s first historical labor movement took place in 2003 BS in Biratnagar under the leadership of NC.

“The very labor movement was the departure of the historical people’s revolution of 2007 BS. So, it is a well-known issue that the NC and laborers are supportive of each other,” the former Prime Minister stated.

Furthermore, Deuba has committed to work for the promotion of working-class people’s rights and interests.
