RSP holding CWC, PP meeting today

To decide whether or not to withdraw support to government



KATHMANDU: The Rabi Lamichhane-led Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding its central working committee (CWC) and parliamentary party (PP) meeting today (Monday).

The parliamentary party meeting is scheduled to decide over the appointment of the post of a parliamentary leader which turns vacant with party Vice President Dol Prasad Aryal resigning as the RSP parliamentary leader on Saturday.

The meeting is also expected to decide whether to withdraw its support to the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government or not.

According to the party source, the central working committee meeting will discuss the latest political scenario and form the party’s opinion over it.

The central working committee meeting has been summoned for 11:00 am and it will be followed by the PP meeting at 3:00 pm, according to Vice President Aryal.
