Nepal sees 38 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 171

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 38 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases 15 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  23 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 656 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them 118 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 538 through the Antigen method.

There are 171 active cases in Nepal as seven infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
