Janamat Party to retain support to incumbent govt: CK Raut

KATHMANDU: Janamat Party President Chandrakant (CK) Raut has said that his party would continue its support to the incumbent government.

Speaking to the media in Koteshwar on Tuesday, he said that there is no situation that requires Janamat Party to leave the government now. The other parties left may be because their demands were not met.

Raut mentioned that although the parties that are constituents of the government may change, the leadership of government by the CPN (Maoist Center) will not change.

He also made it clear that the party would support senior Nepali Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel in the upcoming presidential election.
