PM Dahal and UML Chairman Oli hold talks in Baluwatar

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden also holds talks with PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli held a meeting on Wednesday.

The meeting between the two leaders took place amid a conflict that has surfaced lately between the ruling coalition partners.

Prior to the meeting with UML Chairman Oli, Prime Minister Dahal held talks with Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden, who is also a Deputy Prime Minister in the Dahal-led cabinet.

After the Supreme Court’s decision, Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane had to quot the Ministry of Home Affairs.

There has been a rift among the ruling coalition since then.

The problem has surfaced when Prime Minister Dahal refused to appoint Lamichhane as the Home Minister.

Lamichhane held a meeting with Prime Minister Dahal and UML Chairman Oli on Tuesday.
