Maoist Center’s SC meeting postponed



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Maoist Center’s Standing Committee (SC) scheduled to be held on Wednesday afternoon has been postponed.

Party leaders said that the meeting was postponed due to the busy schedule of Prime Minister and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Today’s meeting was scheduled to give a final shape to various departments of the party.

General Secretary of Maoist Dev Gurung said that the meeting was postponed due to the lack of preparations as well as Maoist Chairman Dahal’s busy schedule.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, Gurung said.
