Nepal sees five new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 30



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of five new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

The confirmed five cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 169 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All 169 cases were tested through RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 30 active cases in the country as four infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
